Practice Manager
Hello, I am JoJo, the practice manager of Highrise Dental. I am available to assist you with any questions you may have about your dentistry, insurance, or your appointment schedule here at Highrise Dental.
I have been in dentistry for a very long time, well over 40 years, both from a clinical standpoint and a business office standpoint. I have experienced many changes as they have occurred in dentistry. I remain very passionate about my role in our practice and my advocacy to the patients that call Highrise Dental their dental home. I have always tried my hardest to maximize patients’ understanding about the dentistry that has been recommended for them, as well as assisting all patients in overcoming any financial obstacles they may be experiencing.
I moved to Arizona from Ohio in 2013, never again wanting to shovel piles of snow to get out of my driveway. Yes, I am an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan and I enjoy following all sports for Ohio State, especially football. I have two beautiful daughters, and five grandsons, all of them living back east in Ohio and in Chicago, Illinois. I make it a goal to see them as often as possible.
I enjoy Arizona, not only for the weather like most folks, but I love the beautiful vistas and views that can be discovered in this scenic state. Getting off road as often as we can is something my boyfriend and I enjoy. We complete our family here caring for our amazing dog Cookie and our fun little love bird named Peaches.
Treatment Coordinator/ Clinical Assistant
Hi, I’m Kim! It was 2013 when I started my experience in the dental field. I have had the privilege of helping patients achieve their best smiles. I attended Concorde Career College in California, where I honed my skills as a dental assistant. My career evolved and I became more and more passionate about helping as a practice administrator. That continues to keep me on my toes learning more each day about insurance and the technology to keep a dental practice functioning at its best.
Originally from Tarzana CA, I relocated to Goodyear with my boyfriend and our fur baby, Zoey. When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me lifting heavy weights at the gym, attending local car meets, or taking Zoey on fun outdoor adventures. I’m also passionate about softball, I played throughout high school, so I’m always up for a good game. I’m dedicated to providing the best care and support to my patients while making their dental experience as comfortable and seamless as possible.
Clinical Assistant
Hi, I’m Denise. I am originally from Northern California, and I moved to Arizona in 2017. I have been in dentistry for 23 years and I love my career. I pride myself on being a people person. I love getting to know the patients I see here at Highrise Dental, as well as assisting Dr. Perno, while providing top quality care. I look forward to meeting you and being a part of bringing a bright and healthy smile to your face.
When I can I love the ocean and walking on the beach. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, biking, a great BBQ and I am a passionate baker and home cook. I enjoy music of all types and caring for my cat at home.
Dental Hygienist
My name is Gretchen, and I am a dedicated dental hygienist with a passion for promoting oral health and wellness. I graduated from Mesa Community College in 2019, where I developed a deep understanding of dental hygiene and patient care. Since entering the field, I have worked with diverse patient populations, providing high-quality care and education to help them maintain healthy smiles.
I have called Arizona my home since 2007. Outside of work, I’m passionate about a variety of hobbies. I love spending time in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes and perfecting my cooking skills. Gardening is another one of my favorite pastimes—it’s incredibly rewarding to nurture plants and watch them grow. I also enjoy being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, exploring nature, or just relaxing in the sunshine. My two cats keep me company at home, adding a bit of joy to my everyday life.
I am always eager to learn and grow in my profession, staying up to date with the latest developments in dental hygiene. I truly enjoy the personal connections I make with patients, and I take pride in providing care that not only addresses their immediate needs but also empowers them to maintain long-term oral health.

I believe in a gentle and compassionate approach to dental care, and I’m committed to staying up to date with the latest techniques and education in the field. When I’m not in the office, you can find me catching a flight to explore a new city, trying out new restaurants or spending time with my family and friends
Dental Hygienist
My name is Da’Sha. I attended Arizona State University for my undergraduate coursework and later graduated from Mesa Community College, where I earned my “Associate in Applied Sciences in Dental Hygiene”. What I love most about being a dental hygienist is educating my patients and being a part of their journey to improve their oral health and achieve their goals.
My mission is to change the negative perception of dental office visits and to treat every patient I see as the most important person in the office. I focus on patient comfort and education to help them maintain a healthy smile. I aspire to provide quality care while building strong relationships with my patients to earn their trust.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my boyfriend, Robert, trying new restaurants, golfing, and spending time with my family.
